You all know na 31st falls on Friday and 1st is a Saturday and then Sunday.
I guess then you guys are gonna start from Monday. So Monday, right? So your New Year resolution possibly will start from 3rd of January 2022. I can see you all are nodding your head. Well to be honest you have already lost the battle!
Why wait for 1st of Jan? Start today. Whatever you wish to do, start from today. Make a resolve to transform yourself and the best part is you don’t need to wait for the New Year – you can begin today. Create the resolve today start applying it in your life right now.

BALANCE LIFE WITH GOOD THOUGHTS

- I prioritize my mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
Spend time with your family, friends, and find time for yourself, for a healthy body and a stress-free mind. The transformation is not only about eating healthy; exercising it is also about being a good human being.
Detoxify your Body and Mind – turn to vegetarian food. It is light on the stomach and easy to digest. Yoga practices help to release stress and toxins deeply stored in the system.
Transformation not only for a fitter body but for overall health management – blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, improper sleep, stress.
The saying goes: Prevention is better than cure. Yoga can be your prevention step.

The problem today is tension, hypertension, and total tension. If you know how to free yourself of tension, you know how to solve your problems in life. If you are able to balance your tensions, you will be able to control your emotions’ anger and passions.
Three fold tensions – Muscular tension, Emotional tensions, Mental tensions.
Whether you think too much or you don’t think at all you accumulate tensions. Whether you take a heavy protein diet, a carbohydrate diet, or a vegetarian diet, you accumulate tensions. And these tensions amass in the different layers of the human personality. They accumulate in the muscular emotional and mental systems. These inner tensions of an individual contribute to collective psychological tensions which can manifest in unhappy family life, chaos and disorders in social life. The yogic texts without doubt, state that peace can only be found within, never without. Therefore we must first learn how to relax and harmonize our own body and mind.
Sowing the seed of change – The most effective means of training the mind is found in Sankalpa, which you make for yourself during each practice. Anything in life can fail you, but not the sankalpa made during Yoga Nidra.
Sankalpa is a Sanskrit word which can be translated as resolve. It is an important stage of yoga nidra and a powerful method of reshaping your personality and direction in life along positive lines. If you know what to achieve in life, sankalpa can be the creator of your destiny. Sankalpa is a determination to become something or do something in your life. But first you must have a direction.
For success the sankalpa needs to be planted with strong willpower and feeling. It should be planted when the mind is relaxed and ready to accept and absorb it. Such a state occurs during Yoga Nidra. The seed of change is found in the resolve made in Yoga Nidra. (We will elaborate more on Yoga Nidra in a later Post)
Sankalpa is a very powerful instrument in the hands of Man. Sankalpa can create a direction for your whole life if you use it wisely. But if you utilize it only for the eradication of bad habits such as smoking or drinking, then you are misusing it. The purpose of sankalpa is to influence and transform the whole pattern, not only physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Then, if you are a heavy smoker or drinker, you will automatically give it up. It is for this reason the use of sankalpa for eliminating bad habits is not recommended. It is better to choose a sankalpa that will change your whole personality so that you become more balanced, happy and fulfilled. When sankalpa becomes the directing force, everything you do in life becomes successful.
Resolve – You must choose your sankalpa very carefully. The wording should be very precise and clear, otherwise it will not penetrate the subconscious mind. The following are a few short, positive and clear statements which can be used.
● I will awaken my spiritual potential
● I will be a positive force for the evolution of others.
● I will be successful in all that I undertake.
● I will be more aware and efficient.
● I will achieve total health.
Choose only one sankalpa according to your needs and inclinations. Do not be in a hurry. Once you have chosen a sankalpa, you must not change to another. Don’t expect results overnight. Time is required depending on the nature of the resolve and the degree to which it is planted in the mind. The result depends on your sincerity and deep felt need to attain the goal of your sankalpa.
